Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment, selecting appropriate technical settings to accurately visualize anatomy.
- Assess patients’ physical and emotional needs, develop care plans, and explain procedures clearly.
- Create a supportive environment for patients and families, responding to individual needs.
- Evaluate exam requisitions, review patient data, and determine procedure appropriateness based on diagnosis.
- Associate’s degree in Allied Health; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Current MRI license or ARRT certification and BLS certification required; MRI registry eligibility by ARRT must be achieved within 18 months of hire.
