Licensed Mental Health Counselor Intern (LMHC/I) provides outpatient mental health services under supervision, gaining practical experience in counseling, behavioral health, and social services.
Supports patient growth through assessments, outreach, case management, and therapy.
Participates in treatment planning, including diagnosis and goal setting, using DSM-5, ASAM PPC, LOCUS, and CUMHA criteria.
Conducts individual and group evidence-based therapy sessions, including telehealth via Zoom.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and responds to crises as needed.
Maintains documentation, adheres to policies, and attends scheduled training and meetings.
Requires at least 21 years of age, valid intern status, background checks, and ability to relocate to Fernley, NV.
Compensation is $48-$56/hour with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Full-time, in-person role with a 10- or 8-hour shift schedule.
