Licensed Mental Health Counselor Intern (LMHC/I) provides outpatient mental health services under supervision, gaining experience in counseling, behavioral health, and social services.
Supports patient growth through assessments, outreach, case management, and therapy. Participates in treatment planning, documentation, and interdisciplinary team collaboration. Conducts individual and group evidence-based therapies, including crisis intervention. Documents contacts within 48 hours and follows protocols using DSM-5, ASAM PPC, LOCUS, and CUMHA criteria. Requires at least 21 years, U.S. citizenship or legal work status, and approved intern status by Nevada Board. Full-time role with benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Must be able to commute or relocate to Fernley, NV, before starting. Salary ranges from $48-$56/hour.
