Mental Health Counselor – Palliative Care

The Senior Mental Health Counselor provides counseling, education, and case management as part of a multidisciplinary Palliative Care team.
They demonstrate advanced clinical skills, serve as a resource for clinicians, and support team growth through leadership and mentorship.
Key responsibilities include developing program processes and group curricula, promoting quality care, and exemplifying core values.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related fields, along with licensure (e.g., Alaska Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, or Professional Counselor) and a minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
Essential skills involve strong clinical expertise, leadership, and the ability to collaborate within a team.
