Reminiscence Coordinator

The Reminiscence Coordinator leads a memory care neighborhood, ensuring residents with dementia receive compassionate, individualized care and meaningful engagement.
They oversee daily operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and champion Sunrise’s Resident-Centered Care model.
The role involves developing and facilitating dementia-appropriate activities, partnering with clinical teams to meet care needs, and supporting families through meetings and education.
The coordinator monitors quality indicators such as weight management, behaviors, and medication oversight.
Additional responsibilities include managing staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and overseeing the department budget and financial performance.
They ensure risk management standards are met and support a well-trained, compassionate team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in memory care or dementia care preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to develop engaging, dementia-appropriate activities
• Excellent communication and family support skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality indicators
