Job Summary
The role involves ensuring residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living setting. Key responsibilities include administering medications according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and documenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real time. The role requires observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, and reporting any concerns or refusals promptly. Maintaining clean and organized medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards, and completing narcotic counts are essential duties. This position plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through attention to detail and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- Medication Administration certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience in senior care preferred
