Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments per physician orders
• Following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Documenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitoring residents during and after medication passes
• Observing and reporting health changes or medication refusals
• Completing narcotic counts and maintaining medication carts and rooms
• Adhering to infection control and safety standards

This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early detection of health issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Candidates should possess:

• High School Diploma/GED and be 18 or older
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
