Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately, safely, and with dignity. This role involves following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and documenting all actions in MAR/TAR in real-time.

Key duties include observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, completing narcotic counts, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms. The role emphasizes strict compliance with infection control and safety standards to prevent medication errors and ensure resident safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
