Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key duties include following physician orders, observing residents during and after medication passes, documenting accurately in MAR/TAR, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms.

This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through attention to detail and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
