Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document medication administration in MAR/TAR in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms and administering medications for relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly and complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards
• Monitor residents for health changes and prevent medication errors through attention to detail and regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
