Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care within a Medical Telemetry unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
- Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN license.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of telemetry experience.
