Job Summary
Performs quality diagnostic laboratory testing on a variety of specimens.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts accurate laboratory tests to support medical diagnostics.
- Maintains quality standards and follows established protocols.
- Ensures proper handling and processing of specimens.
- Adheres to safety and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Pathway I:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.
- ASCP Certification Eligible.
- Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
- Pathway II:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
- Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
- NAACLS Accredited Program.
- ASCP Certification Eligible.
- Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
- Pathway III:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
- Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
- ASCP Certification Eligible.
- Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
- Pathway IV:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
- Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification.
Experience & Skills
- One or more years of laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, or Urinalysis in an accredited lab preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, knowledge of laboratory procedures, and compliance standards.
