Medical Technologist – Clinic

Job Summary
Performs quality diagnostic laboratory testing on a variety of specimens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts accurate laboratory tests to support medical diagnostics.
  • Maintains quality standards and follows established protocols.
  • Ensures proper handling and processing of specimens.
  • Adheres to safety and compliance regulations.

Qualifications

  • Pathway I:
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    • Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.
    • ASCP Certification Eligible.
    • Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
  • Pathway II:
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    • U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
    • Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
    • NAACLS Accredited Program.
    • ASCP Certification Eligible.
    • Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
  • Pathway III:
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    • U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
    • Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
    • ASCP Certification Eligible.
    • Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
  • Pathway IV:
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    • U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
    • Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
    • ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification.

Experience & Skills

  • One or more years of laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, or Urinalysis in an accredited lab preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, knowledge of laboratory procedures, and compliance standards.
