Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, educating patients and families on managing illnesses, medication administration, and post-treatment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a healing environment by delivering education and support to patients and families.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
- Maintain safety standards and work alertly in a safety-sensitive environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Active RN license.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Skills: Critical nursing skills, ability to evaluate diverse patient needs, and effective communication.
