Medical Oncology Clinical Nurse

Join a specialized oncology unit caring for hospitalized cancer patients with moderate to high acuity, including those on Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology services.


As a registered nurse, you will provide direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. The role supports professional growth through programs like the Oncology Nursing Fellowship, Career Ladder, and certifications such as the OCN.


  • Accepts BSN or ADN qualifications with RN licensure
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience
  • Work involves critical nursing skills with a focus on safety-sensitive practices
