We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to support a new outpatient clinic, contributing to laboratory operations for oncology diagnostics.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing complex laboratory testing with high technical proficiency Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA) Assisting with specimen collection, receipt, and processing Serving as a resource for department troubleshooting and quality assurance Building laboratory workflows and procedures from the ground up as a founding team member Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, chemical, or biological sciences Certification (MLS or categorical) or proof of completion from an accredited program Ability to perform phlebotomy and handle biological specimens Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail Personal maturity, responsibility, and excellent customer service skills Physical & Environmental Demands: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and handle biological hazards with proper precautions.
