Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, performing and reporting various analyses from multiple specimen sources in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a technical expert at the instrument or platform level
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical instrument issues
- Making operational decisions in the absence of the Analytical Specialist or Team Leader
- Assisting with the evaluation, validation, and implementation of new products, assays, and methods
- Training employees and participating in quality control, proficiency testing, and inventory management
- Ensuring compliance with procedures, competency, and proficiency requirements
- Interpreting specialized testing as appropriate
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field or Medical Technology with certification or experience as specified
- Minimum of four years of MLS experience
- Ability to perform technical duties, interpret results, and participate in educational activities
- Successful completion of competency exams
