Role Overview: Perform and report various laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Manage specimen handling, identification, accessioning, and troubleshooting of instruments. Maintain accurate records, replenish supplies, and follow established reporting and quality control procedures. Assist in training new staff and participate in ongoing education to stay current in the field.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with certification (e.g., ASCP) preferred. Ability to perform efficiently in a clinical environment, handle specimens properly, and navigate multiple computer applications. Successful completion of competency exams required.
