This part-time Medical Assistant position supports both clinical and clerical duties in a pediatric outpatient setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, weight, height, and assisting with procedures
- Documenting patient information accurately in EPIC to ensure timely provider notes and encounter closure
- Managing patient flow, room stocking, and ordering tests and supplies
- Supporting delegated tasks from RNs, nurse practitioners, or physicians
- Ensuring efficient patient care and delivering quality customer service through effective department interaction
Work hours are Monday through Friday, with varying 8-hour shifts. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assisting program, and CPR certification (preferred at hire or obtained within two weeks).
