Certified Medical Assistant supports physicians and nurses in delivering patient-centered care within a healthcare network.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vitals and relevant clinical information.
- Perform EKGs and assist with phlebotomy.
- Administer and manage vaccinations and related patient care tasks.
- Assist with minor procedures as directed.
- Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-up, and insurance-related tasks.
- Provide patient education, support comfort, and promote a respectful experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Medical Assistant credential.
- Proficiency in vitals, EKGs, and phlebotomy/vaccination support.
- Strong clinical documentation skills in an EHR.
- Ability to assist with minor procedures and follow clinical protocols.
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient-focused professionalism.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
