Medical Assistant

Role Overview

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides clinical support under the supervision of a physician or licensed provider, assisting with patient care, procedures, and documentation. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, obtaining vital signs and patient history, performing skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections, as well as triaging calls and communicating test results accurately.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification or registration in relevant area
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience and CPR certification

  • Stocking and cleaning exam rooms
