Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver is a frontline leadership position responsible for ensuring high-quality, compassionate resident care in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as needed.
• Coach and support caregiving team members on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation.
• Review resident charts and ensure care plans are followed accurately.
• Monitor resident changes, communicate concerns promptly, and support safety and compliance.
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring new staff members.
• Promote a positive, professional, and compassionate work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and minimum age of 18.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.
