Lead Caregiver

The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in a senior care environment, combining hands-on caregiving with frontline leadership.
Responsibilities include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing direct assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), coaching team members on quality standards, reviewing charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring resident changes, and promoting safety and compliance.
Key duties also involve supporting onboarding, mentoring new staff, and ensuring smooth shift transitions, all while modeling professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.

Qualifications and Skills: High School Diploma or GED, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills, with experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.
