Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in senior care environments, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide hands-on Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) support as needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation practices.
• Review charting and ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor resident changes, communicate concerns promptly, and support safety and compliance.
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
• Model professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service during frontline leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care settings.
