Med Surg (RN) (FT) (NIGHTS)

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a critical access hospital’s Medical/Surgical unit, promoting patient and family-centered care. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. Collaborates with the interprofessional team to communicate care plans effectively. The position requires a nursing license and is safety-sensitive, emphasizing alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications:

  • RN license required
  • Nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s preferred
  • No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualifications
