Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with other departments. Upholds patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards and values.
Responsibilities: Manages care for adult medical patients with diverse diagnoses in a Med Surg unit, strengthening core skills, assessment, and patient management. Performs duties consistent with mission and standards, and evaluates care provided by team members.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current RN license in Missouri or compact state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; prior hospital experience and additional certifications are preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements during shifts.
