Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on managing illnesses, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. They develop and document individualized care plans, communicate effectively across care teams, and assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; BSN preferred
- Experience in Med Surg is preferred; no experience required
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety consciousness
- Strong communication, assessment, and care planning skills
Key Responsibilities:
