Role: Provides direct patient care on a medical/surgical unit, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement, respecting cultural and spiritual values.
- Maintain a safe environment, adhering to standards of nursing care and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Experience is not mandatory; less than 2 years of experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
