Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. It emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety and quality initiatives. The role requires developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current RN license; no prior experience required, but two years of experience and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.
- Telemetry experience is a plus.
