Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care on a Med Surg Cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their conditions, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Applicants should possess an RN license, a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree, and ideally a Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience.
Preferred candidates will have BSN, Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience, and a background in caring for cardiac, surgical, respiratory, or renal patients, including those with tracheostomies.
