Role Overview

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, ensuring resident safety through accurate medication administration, health monitoring, and detailed clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders while following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR and support care plan updates
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Report health changes early and assist in safeguarding resident well-being

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication management preferred
