Role Overview

As a Medication Aide/Med Tech, you are responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity. Your duties include following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR in real time, monitoring residents during and after medication passes, and reporting any concerns or refusals promptly. You will maintain clean medication carts, adhere to infection control and safety standards, and complete narcotic counts as per policy.

This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through detailed attention and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
