Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity to residents in a senior living environment.

Key duties include following physician orders, observing residents during and after medication passes, documenting accurately in MAR/TAR, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, completing narcotic counts, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms.

This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through strict adherence to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Skills required include attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and the ability to observe and report health changes effectively.
