Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately and safely, ensuring dignity and regulatory compliance. Key duties include following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR in real-time, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, and reporting concerns promptly. The role involves maintaining clean medication carts and rooms, completing narcotic counts, and following infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
