Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes
• Observe and report health changes or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts and maintain medication carts and rooms
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Ensure resident safety by preventing medication errors and early health issue identification

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication abilities
• Preferred experience in senior care
