Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes, observing for symptoms and administering medications as ordered for relief
• Report refusals, concerns, and health changes promptly
• Maintain medication carts and rooms, adhere to infection control and safety standards
• Complete narcotic counts per policy to ensure compliance

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred: Senior care experience
