Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes, observe for health changes, and report concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts and maintain clean medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards to prevent medication errors and protect resident safety

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care

This role plays a critical part in resident well-being, requiring detail orientation, regulatory compliance, and compassionate care.
