Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity to residents in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts and maintain clean medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards to ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred: Senior care experience

This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and safeguarding resident well-being.
