Role Overview: As a Medication Aide/Med Tech, you are responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately, safely, and with dignity. You ensure compliance with physician orders, follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and document all actions in MAR/TAR in real time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor residents during and after medication passes
- Observe and report symptoms or concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete narcotic counts
- Keep medication carts and rooms clean and organized
- Follow infection control and safety standards to prevent errors and ensure resident safety
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
- Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience in senior care preferred
