Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment.
Key responsibilities include administering medications per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and documenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time.
They observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly.
Maintaining clean medication carts, adhering to infection control, and following safety standards are essential to prevent errors and protect resident safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred: Senior care experience

This role plays a critical part in resident safety, regulatory compliance, and health monitoring, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
