Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately and safely, ensuring dignity and compliance with regulations. Key duties include following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR in real time, monitoring residents during and after medication passes, reporting concerns promptly, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms. The role is vital in preventing errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication abilities
• Preferred experience in senior care

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ health and report any concerns
