Manufacturing Tooling Engineer

We are seeking a qualified professional to manage and improve production line productivity and quality related to cutting tool designs, ensuring continuous improvement and technological advancement.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading tool budget creation, control, and analysis to optimize costs.
  • Providing daily engineering support to troubleshoot tooling issues, develop tools, drawings, and holders.
  • Performing tool analysis, documenting results, and supporting process improvements using engineering principles.
  • Coordinating development of cutting tools, tool holders, and machining processes for new models and technologies.
  • Supporting line-side trials, ensuring quality and delivery during new model testing.
  • Leading collaboration and negotiations with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Communicating technical issues effectively and building strong relationships across departments.
  • Managing projects and ensuring alignment with production, engineering, and development teams.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-8 years of experience in equipment engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (2D & 3D), and SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to read engineering designs, perform advanced mathematics, and convey manufacturing concepts.

Working conditions:

  • Primarily office and production floor environment.
  • Occasional travel for meetings and overseas assignments.
  • Possible overtime and weekend work as needed.
