Mammography Technologist I – Part Time

Role: Mammography Technologist I responsible for providing high-quality mammography services, preparing equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic mammography imaging, position patients appropriately, and evaluate image quality.
  • Follow safety standards, maintain radiation safety, and complete quality assurance activities.
  • Input patient data accurately into computer systems and ensure proper identification.
  • Educate patients on procedures, address concerns, and promote patient-focused care.
  • Respond swiftly to contrast reactions, assist with first aid, and observe patient condition during procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized radiology environment and adhere to all regulatory requirements, including MQSA and OSHA policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and participate in shift rotations and training as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • State certification as Mammography Technologist and AART registration preferred; training provided if experienced radiology technician.
  • One year of mammography experience is preferred.
