Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and contributing to care plans within established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policies.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care accordingly.
- Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Reinforce education, discharge planning, and family needs throughout hospitalization.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
- Participate in evidence-based practice decision-making and unit operations.
- Mentor and precept new staff and students.
- Contribute data for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing; ability to coordinate patient care; strong communication and teamwork skills; compassionate bedside manner.
