Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and contributing to care planning within a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policies and procedures.
- Assess physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Reinforce patient and family education, discharge planning, and family support throughout hospitalization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and ancillary staff to meet patient needs.
- Participate in evidence-based practice decision-making at the unit level.
- Mentor and precept new staff and students in a professional manner.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Ability to coordinate patient care, promote safety, and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compliance with organization policies and procedures.
