Role Overview

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior living environments, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor residents’ symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation abilities
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Key Duties: Ensuring resident safety through precise medication management, early detection of health changes, and adherence to regulatory standards.
