Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time and support care plan updates
• Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and health changes, reporting promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents and communicate findings effectively

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred
