Role Overview

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior care by administering medications, monitoring resident health, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key responsibilities include following physician orders, ensuring medication safety through the Six Rights, documenting accurately in MAR/TAR, observing and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changes, and supporting care plan updates. They are responsible for maintaining medication carts, conducting narcotic counts, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and resident safety through clinical precision and adherence to regulations.
