Role Overview

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support focused on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation to enhance residents’ quality of life in senior living settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time and transcribe physician orders to support care plan updates.
• Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and health changes, reporting promptly as needed.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), maintain medication carts, and perform narcotic counts.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes to ensure resident safety.
• Uphold compliance standards and regulatory requirements to prevent medication errors and protect residents.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing, CPR, and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.
