Role Overview:
The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support by administering medications, monitoring resident health, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in a senior living setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safety
- Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
- Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support symptom relief through medication administration
- Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
- Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
- Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active LPN license in good standing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
