Role Overview:

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support by administering medications, monitoring resident health, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in a senior living setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safety
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support symptom relief through medication administration
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

The role is vital in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and ensuring resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory compliance.
