Role Overview

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support by administering medications, monitoring residents’ health, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safety
• Document accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support symptom relief
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

The role is vital in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and ensuring resident safety through precision and regulatory adherence.
